Initial Problem - Long scan gaps in product fulfillment in distribution center, resulted in loss of productivity. Needed to track scan gaps for root causes analysis. 

Production controller created a slack channel for Team leaders to write notes about which TM’s had long scan gaps and if they followed up with them and found out why. 

There was good data here, but it was totally unorganized because of the amount of people writing on slack. Data was not clear, not measurable at all. 

I created an excel file that categorized the most common occurences for scan gaps based on key words in the slack channel. 

Created a macro enabled form allowing team members to enter in the TM’s key, Name, Department, scan gap time, etc which auto populated in a bar chart to easily identify biggest issues with scan gaps. 

Collaborated with senior managers and received high praise.
